This discussion delves into the complexities and potential risks of using semaglutide, a powerful metabolic tool often employed for fat loss. The importance of understanding the drug’s effects on the body, particularly its role in regulating insulin and glucagon levels. They caution against improper use, highlighting the risks of overdosing and the need for careful monitoring, especially regarding the digestive system’s function. Issues such as delayed gastric emptying, muscle wasting, and gallbladder problems are thoroughly explored, underscoring the need for a well-rounded approach that includes proper nutrition and supplementation.

The conversation also touches on the body’s natural processes for energy production, explaining how semaglutide affects fat and sugar metabolism. The importance of personalized dosing and the dangers of sourcing the drug online or from clinics focused on profit rather than patient care. They advocate for a holistic approach that prepares the body through detoxification and ensures adequate support throughout the treatment, making it clear that while semaglutide can be beneficial, it must be used with caution and expert guidance.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:00:03] So we’re gonna talk a little bit about, these websites that, might go a little too far as well. First of all, thoughts on it? It’s fine to use. It’s very powerful. And in my opinion. You should know what it is, how it works, and what it does to the body before you use it. I realize that sounds kind of silly that everybody should kind of know that, but apparently we’re having issues with it, so semaglutide first. The GLP one is basically glucagon. If you if you understand how the body works. I talk about this all the time. How calories are trash. Those are fake. It’s not really how works. Insulin basically is your fat storage hormone that creates the fat glucagon. On the other side of that is what burns the fat. So insulin keeps you in a glucose state. So you’re burning glucose the entire time. Which is why the blood sugar issues like that. Glucagon is what happens when you have low blood sugar and wanted to lose. Your body starts making sure to run on. And so in order to make the sugar has to use fat for fuel. So similarly time helps the body function. Is glucagon causing all those things to happen? So yes, it can burn fat. And that’s the purpose.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:01:24] What I’m seeing with when I talk to people who have issues is typically they were either not monitored or they’re overdosed, or they’ve overdosed themselves because a lot of people are getting this online, not listening to stuff. But I’ve had a lot of patients I’ve talked to who their doctor gave it to him and didn’t do anything properly because they got. So there’s a couple of big ones I want to kind of knock out as far as problems and explain why and how I go through how I avoid. So, the first one is called The Silence. Basically it’s go bladder talks. You have to understand that if your body is burning fat and then much higher rate for much higher, if it’s using that for a higher fuel source, you’re going to need more bile salts, lipolysis, because the liver has a lot to do with bile function. And so we have to understand is that without necessarily B6, if you’re litters and dirty, if it hasn’t been fed properly, if you have genetic, genetic. Issues like MTC are, you know, and temperature doesn’t play as much in that, that you get the idea. When you go necessarily probably you don’t keep those files halls and suspens.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:02:27] Ion. So ends up happening. So and we’ve had this discussion again before. I’ll go through it again. Gallstones don’t exist. There’s no such thing as gallstones. They’re liver stones. This is my ring. This is my hand. This is my ring in my hand. It’s not a hammer. Your gallbladder is a bag. It doesn’t make anything. You just hold stuff. It’s like a purse. You don’t have anything in your purse that someone didn’t put in there. So what ends up happening is that the bile from the liver gets put into the gallbladder, and the gallbladder supposed to escort it onto the food you’re eating to break down that food and allow that fat to be brought into the body, and that what the problem is, is that a lot of that bile that’s created in the liver. Yeah. There’s other reasons that the use the methyl B6 is a big worry. If you lose methylated B6, the spinal salts go from a WD 40 consistency into an axle grease or like a rubber cement. And so that rubber cement, it’s kind of gooey. And those little tiny balls from the liver, the kitchen, the gallbladder and the glass, which is all the tiny balls and the larger balls. And they just sit there and they sit there long enough or calcified before we get gallstones. What problem is, is if you don’t understand that, and then you push the body into a massive amount of fat functionality, and the person has congealed bile salts in the liver, it’s not gonna take very long before we have go. Let our attacks come. Allow the tissues. Those those gallstones. It’s not true. Probably can also plug the pancreatic ducts.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:03:48] Yes. Like Titus. And so those are some of the major functional issues we see with the regular type is gallbladder attacks, double other issues, liver issues and pancreatic issues, all from that bile system functionality. So that’s a big one. So typically what we’ll do for someone wanted to do this was we put them on kind of the primary detox where we cleaned up. We feed the liver, feed the colon, feed the the adrenals, get the waste out of the body. Some of these oils and some things reset digestive enzymes, such as a function reset. We work a little bit on, we work a little bit on. Coming in, the person of the sympathetic Shunk says, your body is more than this person, they say, so that your body can digest a little bit easier so they keys for later. Specifically this later. So we’ll get kind of that we get functioning again for a little bit. And so that will help tremendously with the issues of, the gallbladder attacks. It also helps with nausea. One of the, one of the reasons we get knowledge is because bile of backing up into the stomach, giving us nausea. And so that’s one of the issues. So so since we’re talking about the stomach, one of the things that go beyond and similarly going say does is it slows down or rapidly decreases absorption function from the stomach away down. And it radically decreases peristalsis and function and stuff. So what’s supposed to happen is that your stomach is sitting there like a little bag. It’s not a bag pouch within a two. But that’s thing that is all back in.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:05:19] You eat something, there’s a little bag, and a little bag holds on to it for a second, and it opens up and it drops into the called gastric emptying. Semaglutide will greatly delay this, and some people delays it for a long, long time until they get into a solid gastroparesis, which is where you’re so like just doesn’t open very much at all. And that’s usually from an overdose. I’ve seen a good time. So and here’s the thing on dosage that we need to understand. So if you’re doing this yourself, ease in everything. The problem we get into is that especially with things like insulin and glucagon and things like this, the bodies have a very different sensitivity to it. So someday when you need to use 1.5mg to get anything to work at all, and some people, you need point three milligrams to the had to work really well. So dosage function is going to be a problem with some, which is why whenever. A good way to go through it would be to have your person who’s walking you through it. As you take this in a group type, be like, eat these types of foods and tell me how you feel. How full do you feel? How long do you feel full? Like do you have any nausea with this that you normally didn’t like? Things like that, like, are you extra gassy? Are you are you farting more or burning more? These are these are different functions that are important. And so you have to go through and be like, okay, now that we’ve walked you through, we’ve seen how where it is. That’s how you start titrating your dosing or up or down.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:06:43] The other thing that’s fun to do with dose is that you dose a time, not with milligrams. So for instance, the seven day half life, he said, I get every seven days, every 6 or 5. So you bring it in a little bit, keeping the levels a little bit higher. But you can titrate that range with that easy. So one of the things to think about, you know, always saying the half life of the stuff you’re doing if you’re doing this by yourself. But the other thing we get into is that the way to get the resources a little bit different. So you’ve got GLP one receptors in the brainstem and pancreas, obviously, because where it comes from, and they got and so as you as these things start rolling through, you’re going to start looking at me like, okay, if the gut’s not absorbing things normally if it’s not processing things properly, what else do we need to make sure we get? All right, well, here’s the thing. You’re right. This. It’s the same thing with fasting. Your body does a really good job of manipulating sugars in ATP. Function ATP function comes from two places. It comes from glycolytic function, which is sugar, and like a lytic function, which is that the only places we get calories are trash. They’re not real. Don’t walk on that road just in the confusing when start trying to learn chemistry. So that’s how it works. So what is happening is that as the glycolytic function starts, decreasing your body naturally starts increasing with regard to functions, they can start burning fat. That’s I had to explain. This is like your body’s just a big Rube Goldberg machine.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:08:07] It’s actually kind of thought. So as ATP creation from glycolytic functions of glucose decreases, there’s a like a threshold. Everyone’s body, it’s different for them. Right. But when it crosses that threshold inside the the alpha cells of the, of the pancreas, because it channels close and basically pressure builds up and especially gets high enough to push pushes on the little receptacles that then squirt out the glucagon. And that’s kind of how it works. And then as the sugars start coming back up, because your body’s going to create the sugars, there’s a sugar start coming back up and insulin starts coming back up. The function starts to rise back up and the cells stop producing. Would really start using glycolytic function for ATP. And so that’s kind of how this thing works. And so the production of glucagon is kind of like a toilet. When you flush it you’re like oh my gosh no insulin lots of glucagon. And then as it’s going back up it’s kind of goes like this. And I’d say it goes, all right, we have enough glucose. Stop producing glucagon, start using insulin again. And so that’s kind of how it works. There’s it’s more complicated. That’s kind of the idea. So what we have to recognize in that function is that we’re now messing with everything else. So the body has plenty of plenty of fats, carbohydrates, sugars. That’s the macro thing your body makes and takes care of all by itself. So let’s get into that real quick. Which is the other major issue we see with food, with the gluten muscle wasting the research on sequences going out and showing that 42% of the weight and a lot of people, they lose this muscle, not fat. And so that’s not what we want.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:09:38] Yes, we lost weight. This is a game I tell about. Weight is the worst thing to track. Like do not track weight when you’re trying to get healthy. Weight is a terrible thing to track. You know, just mess you up mentally because we gained 3 pounds of muscle and you lose 3 pounds of fat, you’re 106 down the road. You want to go down for sure. But you said on a scale and scale says you haven’t gone anywhere. So it’s a kick in the teeth morally and mentally. And so you just don’t, don’t walk that road. Because again, if you don’t lose any fat but you lose 5 pounds of muscle, you’re like, oh, I lost 5 pounds. You just got to essentially less healthy your rapid decrease your metabolic function, and you made yourself weaker and neurologically worse. So you’ve done a ton of damage to yourself. Like look at the scale. You’re like, oh, I’m walking on the road. I want to walk down there or not. So what you have to do is to make sure that the amino acid levels are really high. And if the person funny, it’s a sorcerer because the source ruins the healing hormone, you have to regenerate that tissue faster than you’re eating, because one of the places your body gets the proteins, the carbon chains that are going to need to produce the sugar through what’s called a Jesus is it turns off your muscle tissue.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:10:48] So that’s why you’re losing muscle tissue, because your body goes, oh, we need to make some sugar for the body. And so it takes that we’re not getting fed, because one of the things that happens is you’re like, hungry on something with time and you’re not absorbing things. So it’s kind of a double whammy. And sometimes it happens that reaches over and grabs your muscle tissue, tears of the part, you know, acids, which is actual liver. This is looking at Genesis for. You should have your blood in for your brain so you feel fine, but your muscles are being eaten apart, and so you have to make sure that you’re getting enough protein. And which amino acids is widely process amino acids in which you also the testosterone to tell the body to heal, regenerate, repair the tissue, just store parts. And so that’s why the functional form and models are where they’re supposed to be all the way across the board, specifically with the posture. Even if you’re not going to work out, you have to do this. If you’re going to work out, you can actually grow muscle tissue quite fat, quite quickly from the energy the ATP produced from the fact that you’re the observer. So you can compensate for a lot of these issues that lead to even death. If you understand that your body needs more than just carbohydrates, proteins and fats, or sugars and fats. So that’s really the biggest set is, you know, are we getting the methylated B vitamins? Are we getting the amazing fatty acids.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:12:04] Are we getting the you know, it took you ten so you can get through we can get through ATP production through, the mitochondrial chain transport system, the Krebs cycle, if you will, much, much easier. So are we getting the nutrients in the body needs to actually function? Yes. ATP production is great. Anybody can take care of ATP production just fine. Don’t worry about that. But all the chemicals it needs to do that, is it going to have us. And the answer is usually not so you have to supply those from a supplement standpoint. So if your doctor is not giving you, you know, methylated clients and a whole slew of stuff, you’re gonna have problems. And the other thing we always look at is, you know, detoxification function. So I like these in as well. But, you know, self-sustained increases the, and it’s just a worthwhile thyroid function. So you can actually use those simple to detoxify and breaks up down a lot faster. So. Long and short, I, I used a lot of a lot of high technol technological stuff in this and lots and lots of things. I’d say, when you guys have questions here. So if you guys are having problems with this, if you’re throwing up, if you’re nauseous, if you’re having constipation, if you’re having with stools or any of those sort of things, and you’re having trouble figuring out why or how to fix it, you know, we can walk you through it, but we walk people from the beginning to the end. So if you guys want to walk through it, we can walk through it. We, we work with two different docs like they prescribe.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:13:29] We just we do all the other, holistic, functional stuff. But, if you’re if you’re thinking about something, try tired. Keep those things in mind. If you have friends who go like, oh, I think I want to do that, keep that stuff in mind. If you’re going to do it, figure that stuff out ahead of time. Do your get your body ready for it ahead of time and then you can move through it. It’s great to work out while you’re on it. I just know what you’re doing and kind of have to add that in as well. But you know, that’s a there’s a lot of that. The other thing to remember, supplements. You’re taking drugs, you’re taking any medications, anything you’re taking orally. So you’re swallowing it while you’re on single site. There’s a good chance that’s going to be held in the stomach longer. And so it’s going to affect the way the body absorbs and the bubbles of those supplementation and that and the medication. So if your doctor hasn’t told you that things are not online, that’s a thing. So make sure that you factor that into your blood levels for your medications, especially for daily stuff. So that’s kind of awesome to see. Which I just again, it is super powerful to great metabolic tool use. However, it’s if you don’t know what you’re doing is really dangerous. So if you guys are ordering this online, if you’re getting it from, you know, a clinic that’s just trying to sell as much as it can, this these are some of the issues. If your friends have had issues that you’ve had issues with, like the like this, this is that’s why you. So if you want to do it and let’s do it safely and properly, we can help you do that. But it’s one of those things where you’ve got to make sure the whole body is supported when you do something like this. So anyway, if you guys have any questions starting in the comments or questions at George one. And we will see you guys next time.
