Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:01:38] And you look at what you do and you’re like, oh, you did it. You did two days worth of work and, you know, seven hours. You should be tired. You know, you want to factor that piece in. You want to make sure that you’re not just overexerting yourself, but kind of traveling throughout the day and see how you’re doing. One of the other things that you want to do is you want to track, you know, have mental clarity, you know, how’s your mind work throughout the day? How clear are you? How how easy is it for you to think? How much ad do you have? You know, that type of thing? Sex drive, obviously. It’s a big one. And then sexual function. So orgasm function, erection function, that sort of thing. Testosterone really increases orgasm function in women. And so you you definitely women, you definitely want to kind of know. Take that one down. And so you kind of know where you are on those, strength in the gym. You know, if you’re if you’re going to the gym, you’re like, oh, man, I feel so much stronger now. Like, it’s just like. I feel like I’m just better. Yeah. Write that down and, you know, take, you know, emotionally how you’re feeling as well. Like, you know, I got the 12. I felt awesome about it. You know, I was tired of going to the gym for ten minutes. And I felt awesome.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:02:44] Like, write that stuff down. You want to know kind of how you’re doing? Okay. You know, any any of the other stuff, like, hey, I’m not sore anymore. My weights are going up, my muscles are getting bigger, I’m losing the fat, like that type of thing. Like all those type of things. Like how you look, how you feel about how you look, how you feel in general, emotional stability, that type of thing. Like, man, I’m like, I’m more emotional, but I like it because it colors my life more. Or, you know, I have more energy and I’m more calm and more relaxed and everything’s just better, right? All that stuff out. But also write down any of the negative stuff. So if you don’t think that you’re losing your hair, you know, women, you guys brush your hair at least once or twice a week. So look at the look at the brush. Look at the count. Like, are you losing more hair? I have women who tell me that they’re growing more hair because of all the things we’re doing. Like, I don’t want to lose hair and gang hair. Well, you know, that’s the thing as well. So check the hair on your head. Make sure that that’s you know, where it’s supposed to be if you start noticing it’s getting thinner. No. Take that down. Because it’s definitely you want to talk to you about with your whoever your provider is.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:03:45] Or if you don’t have a provider, find things you know they’re doing and talking about it. And then, make sure that your facial hair darkening hair on the body. Extra oil, extra acne, extra any of that type of stuff. And I think that, the more important things are. Are you getting headaches? Are you getting, you know, is it feel like a pressure is in your head is higher? Are you getting, you know, anything like that, any numbness or tingling or anything like that? You know, because the the only real issue, you come out, come in contact with the testosterone from a health standpoint is it can increase to your hemoglobin factor levels and that can increase the pressure inside to heart attack and stroke. That’s the only replace heart attack stroke comes from. So no take that down. Make sure that you’ve got that information. So you can give it to your health care provider and see if they have any issues. They’re, drawing blood every 3 or 4 months is going to be the easiest way to to check that age. There’s a lot of people who have their age and age too high and they never know. And so pulling blood trigger an idea now.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:04:47] But write all these down because what ends up happening is, you know, you might have to sit down and be like, okay, look, as a woman, we’re getting a little bit of facial hair. Darkening hair on your face isn’t growing more. It is darkening. And that obviously, you know, not everyone loves. So look at it and then kind of look at the okay. You know, organize the functions. Amazing mental clarity. Awesome. Energy is awesome. Muscle growth is awesome. What I’m doing this facial hair darkening. There’s sometimes we can do some stuff about that, but a lot of times it’s like drop the dose down. And so what you’re gonna have to figure out is facial hair darkening. It’s not really life altering. Like it’s not you’re not going to die. So kind of take a look at me like, do I want all the positives? Because if we bring it down, you’re going to you have to just assume you’re bringing everything down. And if you’re like, are you willing to give up some of the nasal clarity? Is that willing to give up some of the energy is isn’t going to give up some of the are you willing to go through the orgasm function to have a little bit less facial hair?

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:05:50] Like when I talk to women about that, I feel like I’ll just shave or I’ll get laser hair removal, I’ll get micro or whatever, whatever else I’d rather do because they they’re like, no, no, no, no. I like the upsides a lot. You know, my husband and I, we’re very big fans of the upside. And so we’ll just do something over here. Fantastic. I actually have a lady who, she was. She said she. I think I’m losing the hair on my head. And I was like, well, okay, so we can start turning it down. And I was like, here’s the recommendations. I would like for your dog. And she was like, oh, no, no, that’s fine. And I was like, what are you talking about? And she’s like, oh, I don’t care. So we’re wigs and all right, well, if you don’t care, it doesn’t matter. So, it has been the person that here’s the reason you want to track this stuff. Because if you’re like, hey, I’m a ten and all the good stuff, but I’m starting to see some issues I don’t like. We can drop you down a little bit and you might stay at that eight, nine, ten range on the good stuff, but you might be able to drop down some of the negative stuff and kind of combat it a little bit. The thing people don’t seem to talk about much is that.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:06:52] You’re not a machine or we don’t come out with thin line. And so, you know, for women, 110 testosterone levels might be, you know, not enough for you and the perfect number for somebody else. Somebody else might need to be at 150 or 200 to we were there. Perfect. So you can’t always go on the numbers. But if you talk to your patient, you go, how do you feel like, have you charted this stuff? How are you? Are you watching what’s happening? And if they’re like, look, you know, because I hear this more often than not, they’re like, look, you know, I had no side effects and I like what we’re going, but I feel like I’m halfway there. Well, all right. You might not have the same sensitivity to simulcast, so you might be able to come up a little bit as long as you’re monitoring all those things. And so if you’re not learning those things, we’re just guessing as you go along. What is happening is that something bad happens, or we get to a point where you’re like, I’ve lost a lot of hair, or I have a lot of dark hair on my face where it’s just like slaps you in the face. But if you’re looking for it and you’re watching partner charting it, and not every day, you can do this like once a week or something like that, just kind of check in and make sure you’re going where you’re supposed to go.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:07:59] Tracking your stuff is the way that we do things safely. So the safer you want to be, the more you have to be involved. So tracking this a little bit more. So those are going to be some of the really important things that you guys need to do. If you’re thinking about testosterone, if you’re onto source from either side of things check that out. Now for you women who are taking testosterone, estrogen and progesterone. I hate that. I think it’s. I think it’s a terrible idea. However, if that’s right. That’s right. Fine. If, you know, if you’re past menopause. If you’re no longer there and you’re spotting, it is most likely because of your progesterone. The job of progesterone is to increase blood flow to the uterus so we can have viable pregnancies, which is one of the reasons that is the number one thing to give women who have pregnancy issues or fertility issues is because we want to increase blood flow, oxygen, nutrient supply to the uterus for baby. Now, if you’re 50 or 40 7 or 40 and you’re like, I’m done, I don’t want any more kids and you’re on progesterone and you’re spotting. Talk to your doctor about either eliminating or dropping those levels down, especially if you’re also on estrogen. So check those out now. Remember testosterone converts into estrogen. So oftentimes you can get the levels of testosterone right and fix all the other problems.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:09:17] So it happens more often than not. We have a woman who has low testosterone, has, hot flashes nice and dry and sort of a thing. We give her testosterone, it converts over to estrogen. Her testosterone needs are met, and her estrogen needs are not hot flushes nights, which doesn’t go a lot. Now, again, numbers don’t. When he yelled for saying numbers don’t matter, but numbers aren’t the entire picture. Let’s go that way. So if you’re estrogens as a woman is 45, but you’re hot, flushes, night sweats, and dies from dryness are completely gone. You don’t need more like if you’re not trying to. If you’re not gonna have a baby, you don’t need any more. So keep that in mind just because your numbers aren’t where they were when you were 17, doesn’t mean your numbers aren’t where they need to be for you now. So as long as there’s nothing to mythology, you should be good. But write all this stuff down. Check into it, give it to your doctor. Redact doesn’t care about it. Find another doctor. Who cares? Because if you’re charting your progress about the medications your is giving you or the therapies your doctor is giving you, or the advice your doctor is giving you, and they don’t care. And that’s that bad? That’s bad. Bad. Like, I’m asking my patients to do this, and I’m.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:10:32] I’m not getting on my mic. This is going to help you. So if your doctor doesn’t care when you give them information about how their how about how your care is happening to your body, you need to find another doctor. So apparently that doctor doesn’t care about what’s going on with you. So, but this puffed out. If nothing else, do it for yourself. If you’re like, you know what? I feel better, but I have almost no downside and I feel like I could feel better. Maybe you can come up. Do not up here around us. Don’t do that. There’s lots of reasons not to do that one. The biggest reason is that these things are highly regulated way overregulated for. I mean, you know, it’s one of those things that when George Bush decided he didn’t want these things around, for whatever reason, he decided who they wanted to be illegal. That was a massive, massive hit to everybody’s health. They’re they’re safe as long as you’re dealing with them. However, don’t show up in your death because if you get a certain dose, it’s timed out. And so if you’re like, oh, I’m taking point one. And then you’re like, I’m going to go to point two. You can have double the dose, which means it’s going to last you half as long.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:11:36] So when you run out and you get back to your doc and you’re like, I need more stuff, I could be like, no, you’re dosed with fat for a specific time. You didn’t do it. So just talk to your doctor like, hey, here’s my shit. You know, I have no real side effects that are bothering me. These are the 5 or 6. I don’t think I can go up a little bit. I’d like to go up a little bit of my dose and talk to them about it. That’s the easiest way to do that. Always put your documentary down, these sort of things if you’re not using a doc. I would recommend getting your blood pooled and talking to somebody who who can get you through. I do a lot of it’s funny because there’s a lot of people I work with where they have their own, they supply their own hormones, and I just do their blood work and kind of talk to them about, you know, balancing it nutritionally. So, what are the things that, that, that you need to keep in mind for any if you guys are doing your own stuff, if you’re doing withdrawal or Anova or if you’re getting some of these oral, and people talk about, oh my gosh, they’re so bad for the liver. One of the reasons that you get back to the liver is genetics.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:12:34] And so that’s hard to deal with. But one of the other major reasons is because you just put a supercharger on your engine, right? Lots more power, lots more stuff. We’re pushing really hard. Lots of anabolic and lots of androgens, lots of growth, lots of that stuff. You need to feed the liver. More like the reasons starting to have issues. Not every time, but a lot of the time is just running out of methylated B6 and turning out of the coke. You tend the entity and they seem like it’s running out of the chemicals it needs to do the job. This goes back to the conversation I have all the time about the eggs, right? We’re baking a cake. Lots of flour, lots of sugar. You run out of eggs. Can I get more cake? Right? And so what you need to do is you need to make sure you have more eggs. So in this case, what we’re talking about is you need to make sure that you got more nutrients, more chemicals that your body uses, the reagents, your liver, your body uses to do the processes it’s doing. So if you sped up a process right by increasing androgens, you need to make sure the body has more fuel to do that job.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:13:29] And so that’s just one of the things that we try to make sure you’re doing. But watch that because you know cleaning the liver feeding the liver. Same thing. You want to make sure you’re doing a lot of that. So keep that up. But charter stuff like anything you’re doing like right. That like again once a week. How do you feel in all sorts of areas like Google Side effects, Google, you know, positives from testosterone and make sure that you’ve got something for all of those things. And so when you’re looking at it, you’re like, oh, I’m not getting this. I’m not getting that. I mean, a lot of that meaning some of that. And then talk to your doctor about it because a lot of times, you know, we’ll be able to fix those things. So, that’s the best part for you. So we’re going to give you everything you have fixed. We can go back, interact with her tomorrow. It’s a very interesting, peptide. It is super powerful. It is really great. But anything that’s powerful can do lots and lots of damage. So we’ll go over some of the ways that we can prevent the damage tomorrow and hopefully keep you guys safe. Thanks for your time.
