Mazzu Law PLLC Information Below
Edward T. Mazzu, Jr. is a trial lawyer and the founding member of Mazzu Law, a personal injury law firm built on Core Values. With offices in Dallas, Texas, New York City, and Buffalo, New York, Mazzu Law’s mission is to help people rebuild their lives after a serious injury resulting from a car accident, trucking accident, construction accident, or workplace accident.
Growing up just outside of Buffalo, New York, Mr. Mazzu learned the value of hard work from his father and developed a blue-collar work ethic. At 19, he was accepted into the apprentice program with Ironworkers Local 6 in Buffalo, New York. He worked every aspect of the trade from being a structural steel high-rise connector to placing reinforcing steel on bridge jobs.
After working for 10 years as a union ironworker—having worked on hundreds of construction sites from New York to Las Vegas—he was seriously injured in a construction accident that left him unable to continue as an ironworker.
Determined not to be defined by his injuries, he set out on a new path overcoming adversity and rebuilding his own life. He went back to school at age 30 and completed an associates, bachelor’s, and a law degree in just 5 years. In doing so, he transformed himself into a litigator with a unique ability to handle personal injury cases, especially construction injury cases. He is known as The Ironworker Lawyer.
Mr. Mazzu also owns and operates a coaching and consulting company called One With Life where he helps individuals and business owners discover and leverage their inner gifts and truly live life as intended. Additionally, he is the creator of the podcast, The Road to Prosper, a show that focuses on developing the right mindset needed to thrive in today’s ever-changing society.
As a devoted husband and father of three, Mr. Mazzu is committed to living a principled life, aligned by a definite purpose, and guided by his Core Values. He remains a proud member of Ironworkers Local 6 and has a passion for helping people.
