Gout is a painful type of arthritis that happens when too much uric acid builds up in the joints, often affecting the fingers and toes. While many people think eating meat is the main cause, the bigger culprits are certain vegetables like asparagus and lentils, along with processed foods and alcohol especially beer. Cutting back on deli meats, organ meats, and sugary foods, while drinking plenty of water, can help keep symptoms in check.

Managing gout naturally is all about smart food choices and healthy habits. Staying hydrated, sweating through exercise or a sauna, and avoiding high-purine foods can make a big difference. If a flare-up starts, drinking more water and temporarily cutting out purines can help flush out excess uric acid. With a few adjustments, it’s possible to keep gout under control and feel better overall.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:00:04] All right. So here we go through galaxy. Galaxy is just for those who don’t know, it’s really painful, like inflammation of the joints. It’s an arthritis sort of thing. Fingers, toes, people get all over the place. Usually it’s and that’s the reason we get it is from excess uric acid, the uric acid, the something out, the uric acid actually crystallizes into these like balls of spikes. And so it’s extremely painful. It causes swelling and inflammation, all sorts of that stuff. So how do we not have. Well, and this is, I’m sure, shocking, tolerable, low giacchino’s. I it’s really smart for us now because remember, well, we get it from eating meat. That’s not true at all. You get it from your eyes. Our furry security or how we once pronounced a luncheon was. I call it curious. These hearings are in a lot of vegetables. Asparagus, mushrooms, lentils. Learn a ton of vegetables. So you guys can read those out. You know, some of us are on the keto diet. You got to get those out. Cauliflower is another one. So any periods up. So get those out. And then no deli meats, no organ meats and low sugar diet is going to be really, really great. All those things create more reaction periods. Now we’ve looked at some genetic function and we think we’re kind of moving in the right direction. But there’s no definitive this is the thing like, you know, for methylated folic acid into a feature, you’re improving your buying. If you got that, you’re homozygous against that. You have to take folic acid and you’re fine. In this case, there’s no real there’s a couple of different ones that are like, well, this kind of ties in this kind of ties in the kidney function, but there isn’t really affect.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:02:01] So we’re we’re looking at things we shouldn’t eat processed. I know, I know. It’s crazy. It’s just another thing that process which are killing us so processed foods are going to horrible the idea that it’s just meat is silly. You can reduce it as long as it’s, you know, organic, non processed meat. Look at chicken, for example, when you and this is why you should cook your chicken for other reasons but cooked chicken you can reduce appearing count by about 80%. So that’s a big one. Red meat’s fine as long as I ordered meats. Lots and lots of water. The big issue we run into is alcohol specifically. Beer has a lot of periods, so you guys kind of watch that so you get your alcohol out. This is one of those deals where it’s how important is the alcohol to right? So if you’re like, Man, I got to have my beer when I watch football games, you get that. All right. There’s ways you can kind of work around it. There’s like kidney supplementation that you can take. So I’ll have people take that. The kidney complex, it’s on the website. We have the office, and then I’ll have a drink, a ton of water before and after. And then we’ll have to take tomorrow effects just because, you know, we want to decrease inflammation of the body and small effects does that. Plus if you’re going to have a minor injury, which is pretty good option to block your hangover. So tomorrow affects blocks hangovers and that’s fantastic.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:03:29] So but the big thing on gout is just morally more kind of avoid the foods are causing it deli meats are going to be one again that’s processed meats. So chicken, steak, lamb, all those are fine. Some of the shellfish is going to be okay. Just check Your cheeses are going to be great. Check your peering levels. Just Google it. Just, you know, what is the peering level and, you know, wild salmon. You’re like, whoa, I can eat that. Great. Fantastic. It’s kind of the same thing as the Akita diet. You know, you look at the glass ceiling function of it, has the placement function low enough for you? Great. You know, it’s how we do tell you. What about diabetes? Say start walking recommendations. I start, you know, increasing glucagon function to burn fat off your body. It’s all based on resting function. So this one is your metabolic function is based on GI function because GI function is both insulin and glucagon. So a lot of this is also be based off of GI function to give those lower jet foods. So there’s a whole list of vegetables you can eat and there’s a whole bunch of needs. The chicken organ meats specifically are going to be a big ones and then processed meats are going to be your next big one. Then alcohol. You guys can avoid those, which I know that sounds really hard. It’s not. It’s super easy, you know, especially after doing a keto diet. It’s one of those deals where it’s like, you know, you got steak and chicken and you’ve got turkey and you’ve got not processed the turkey, by the way, you got normal turkey, you got things like that. Once you guys get used to that and you have all the cookies and cakes and pies and all the such stuff, you’ve got a decent handful of nuts and stuff.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:05:07] So you’ve got a giant variety of things that you can eat. man, pancakes are so good now we made a bunch of new pancakes for the event we’re doing there, so the protein packets are amazing, but there’s so many things that you guys can eat that’s going to avoid the out stuff. So if you guys have gout and you’re wanting me to help me walk through it, I’ll walk you through it. But it’s really pretty easy. Just jump online and Google, you know, does this food have purines and it does donate it over. Very little to admit it, but giant amounts of water. So what ends up happening is that we’re not pulling the uric acid out of the bloodstream properly through the kidneys. We’re at a higher volume and it’s beneficial. And then we’re letting those the high concentration of uric acid in the body basically crystallize and set into joints. Normally it’s it’s the extremities in your fingers and toes. As the blood vessels get smaller, the blood speed slows down and things can precipitate out of fluid. Always here. That’s interesting. So giant amounts of good clean water giving your body enough room to flush out everything is going to be really beneficial. So that’s the easiest way to treat gout we treat all the time. And it’s just one of those things of, you know. How much do you not want to, you know, or how do you get around it? The one thing that I think that we’ve seen the biggest issue with is the alcohol. People are coming in. I got to have a beer. And so we’ve had to come up with a variety of different ways to get people to be able to have their alcohol. And we’ll do some of that. You know, dark cherry juice, you know, around the alcohol consumption. Lots and lots of water before and after. We’ll do.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:06:55] Sweating is great for this because you sweat out uric acid as well. So a lot of those things are pretty helpful. You can sit in a sauna, you don’t have to go run, but those sort of things are very beneficial if you’re going to sit in the sun, if you’re going to do the sweat stuff. Also, remember, you got to keep your minerals up. So not just sodium, potassium, iron, all calcium, the blood, them boron, selenium, like all this stuff. So take a high, high mineral salts or take a much different mineral function to be sweating the stuff out. So if you have a heart attack, John, amounts of water cut all the pure things out of your diet immediately and then start and start sweating again, you know, to run off your feet are killing you. And it’ll help kind of flush some of the stuff out as your body starts reducing the amount of uric acid that’s in the blood. You can start dissolving some of these crystals and moving back. But the thing is, is that remember the concentrate. And so as a concentrated crystal form, it’s going to take you a while to dissolve them into the fluid and get it out. So whenever you first start feeling like, I think I’m getting a flare up here in the water, cut the periods to zero and start sweating like that would be the best treatment for it. Until we figure out the genetic markers and go, we just need more exquisite. You’re fine. Like I said, we’re we’re we’re looking for those right now. And we’ve got a couple that we think are tied but not directly resulting in function. Yeah.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:08:25] So that’s really the biggest thing. You know, again, it comes back to out of diet. You know, if you, you know, this is the biggest thing is for high carbon diets so much like you’ve got scurvy, you’ve got gout, you’ve got diabetes, you’ve got dementia, you’ve got Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, great, you’ve got depression, you’ve got all sorts of things that you’re building. Muscle is, in fact 100% tied up with whether you open your mouth entirely tied to your diet. So, you know, celiac talks a great IBS source agree 100% tied to what you’re putting in your mouth. This isn’t a you lack the drug. This isn’t that you need more drugs. This is a your diet. These are the things, the chemicals you put in your face every day need to change. And the thing is, is that you can change them and not miss the stuff. Now, if you’re a big, huge, you know, IPA freak, then you have to eat it with, you know, a whole bunch of processed organ meats. Yes. And suck for you. And that’s that. That’s right. But I don’t know a whole lot of people who sit around eating all the organ meats and only drinking iPods.

Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:09:31] So, yeah, there’s a whole lot of you who we can help kind of walk back for. So just like I said, check appearing level cup appearances, zero, increase your clean water and sweat the stuff out when it hurts. And a lot of times are going to be in much, much better shape. So the other thing you can do is when you’re not having your exercise because you as you again exercise and sweat and you move the blood around a lot more, a lot faster, it’s what’s going to keep those your Akashic results from condensing in the feet or in the hand. So it’s not a foolproof thing, but it will help quite a bit. So you guys do have gout and you have be able to knock it out. Give us a call. We will walk you through it. Otherwise, like I said, just follow the directions and you should be substantially better off because any questions start from the comments or questions at Chalmers on the second.
