PERSONAL STATEMENT
Dr. Elyse Deleski is the Founding Partner, Co-Owner, and Executive Director of New Perspective Counseling Services, a thriving group therapy practice in Frisco, Texas.
Dr. Deleski is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and LMFT-Supervisor in the state of Texas. She received her Bachelor of Art degree in Linguistics from Hampshire College, her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University, and her Ph.D. in Psychology from California Southern University. Additionally, Dr. Deleski is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCAPT) and a Certified Specialist in Anger Management (CSAM).
Dr. Deleski practices from an individualized perspective, catering to meet the needs of her clients rather than offering therapy in a “one size fits all” framework. She provides counseling services to individual adults, couples, and families, and has successfully worked with clients struggling with anxiety, grief & loss, couple/marital issues, and those who experience challenges related to their relationship with food and/or their body. She also has expertise in providing care and guidance for members of the LGBTQ+ community who are exploring gender identity, sexual orientation, and/or relationship issues.
Dr. Deleski is recognized as an expert in her field, has appeared on television in an episode of “Unfaithful: Stories of Betrayal” on the Oprah Winfrey Network, and has presented seminars on topics including “Suicide Prevention and Intervention”, “Overcoming Emotional Eating”, “Improving Your Relationship with Food and Your Body”, “Stress & Time Management”, and “Over-Scheduled Kids and Under-Connected Families”
Dr. Deleski is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, and a member of the American Academy of Bereavement.
