Frisco Counseling and Wellness
Ann is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University where she earned a Master of Education in Counseling, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Ann has over 20 years of experience in School Counseling and Student Support, and is a member of the American School Counseling Association.
It can be a courageous move for an individual to reach out for counseling, and Ann believes in walking alongside her clients through the counseling process in a true team effort. As your counselor, Ann serves as a coach as you work toward goals, a listener as you work through life’s challenges and solutions, and a provider of a safe and judgement-free environment where you feel comfortable and accepted as your true self. Ann is a believer that each person has strengths and unique experiences that he/she can use as building blocks toward change and healing.
Ann has experience with children, adolescents, and young adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, school issues and achievement, conflict, grief, adjustment, and the development of positive coping skills. She also sees women who are currently in cancer treatment, survivors, and/or caregivers of those with a cancer diagnosis.
Ann is available to see clients in person at our west location and via telehealth.
