Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:00:04] All right, so when we’re start talking about health. Oh, by the way, I did the the the measles podcast I did on X is out. So swing over there and check that out. It’s a tad bit inflammatory. So when we’re talking about overall health and this is something that we need to all kind of start kind of recognizing. There’s a giant amount of it that is responsible to the person who wants to acquire it. The big difference between becoming healthy and staying in the Western medicine drug model is the amount of work that’s required. If you want to be healthy, you’ve got to do the work. You’ve got to take the supplements. You’ve got to work out. You’ve got to do all the stuff. And that’s really where a lot of this comes down. I talk to people, everyone, some of them, some looking at it like, hey, can you fix diabetes? I’m like, well, I can teach you how to fix your diabetes. But you’ve got to do it. And so that’s one of those big things that we all kind of have to understand is that if we’re going to want. If we’re gonna want health, we’re have going to have to build it. You’re gonna have to go out. You’re gonna have to do it. You’re gonna have to, you know, do the exercise you’re gonna do. You have to do that type of stuff. Now, if you get me to walk you through it, it’s oftentimes easier to be walked through it. Make the small changes, you know, keep keep moving forward, you know, not make a lot of mistakes. And that’s that’s great. That’s why you get coaches. I walk people through it all the time. If you guys wanted me to walk you through it for, you know, til you get to maintenance point, get a hold of us. We do all the time. But that’s the that you guys are gonna have to kind of recognize as everybody starts getting more and more sick. I’m worried about society to a degree, in a little ways.
Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:01:55] As people who have Covid and have gotten the Covid vaccine and have long Covid and are working down that road get worse and worse. They’re going to start because they’re they’re actually breathing off MRA. They’re breathing off the spike proteins. So you know, we’re going to have those issues as we go through. And if we don’t start really kind of leaning in trying to figure out how we’re going to fix those issues, we’re going to end all end up in a bad place. Now, I will tell you that if we’re trying to eat healthier, it’s going to involve some work for you guys now. You know, the workout stuff doesn’t have to be tremendous. And the exercise thing you can obviously enjoy, you know, play basketball, dance, take a dance class. You know, lots people love five. You know, I like lifting weights. You know, it’s whatever it is that you know, you want to do to get your body moving and get healthier. You know, we can put together. I’ve done all sorts of stuff for people, you know. You know, fast walking, you know, taking the dog out for for a jog, you know, whatever it is. You know, yoga, online yoga that they’re watching at home. There’s all sorts of things to get yourself back where you need to be. So doing those things is going to be important, but we’re all going to have to kind of do them. So I would highly recommend that you guys, you know, find a path that works for you. And the easiest way to find a path is to have somebody walk you through your options. You know what’s available. You know, should I be using hormones? Should I not be? Should I be, you know, should I be doing carnivore or keto or, you know, should I be doing some other type of, you know, paleo? So what what diet works best for me? You know, how do the diets even work?
Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:03:42] So you can kind of help put together one for yourself? You know, these are very important things to get walked through. So, you know, a lot of times what we end up doing is we’ll end up, you know, taking people will walk them through it. And as we kind of go through, it takes 3 or 4 months as we get to get through it, they kind of figure out what works for them. You know, they figure out the foods they can eat that are better for them. You know, they get less processing. They can get less, you know, hormonal or glycemic response so they get healthier as they go through. Those were always options that we we walk people through. Those are great. So figuring out your path is usually the best. Now, if you have diabetes or you have dementia or you have family history of those things, getting your metabolic stuff reset is really, really important. It is the the sooner you get on that, the easier it is to get through. So like if your parents have diabetes or your, you know, you’ve got, like I said, dimension, your family, there’s a couple different things that you can check pretty easily to figure out, you know, if you’re walking down that road. So, you know, fasting insulin is one of them. But look at the processing in your food. Look at the look at your, you know, your DNA. See what you see. If you’re missing anything specifically in the in the. Specifically associated with, you know, the metabolic function of each arm TTR comp comt apathy. You know, those are very those are important to do. We have we have one we work with that works pretty well. It takes about six weeks to get back. Which is not that long. Some of these things take, you know, 3 or 4 months. So six, six, ten weeks is not a giant thing for some of these DNA tests companies. But getting that done is a really, really big, big move forward in overall functional health.
Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:05:32] So have somebody get somebody to walk you through. It is going to be the best kind of possible function that you can get. You know it’s anti-aging. You know, all those things, all the things that we all want, right? We want anti-aging. We want to feel younger. We want to have more energy and have better sex. All those things are tied into actually being healthy. So you know the things that you want from a lot of times from the body, from the from from the world, you get from working through them. So that’s why I always tell people, you go grab it, grab some, you can walk you through all your different options and I can help get you there. So we’re we brought on a full time functional medicine pediatrician who’s also family mad. And so now we can do full family care. So if you’re if you’re, you know, pregnant or if you’ve got kids and you’re looking for somebody with a little bit higher care that you have cell phone access to that you can get Ahold of instantly, give us a call. We’ll get that all set up for you. A lot of times what ends up happening is with these kiddos, we’ve got to get them kind of on the right path. It’s funny because like, we work with adults and you can usually reason with adults and like, Eat This, Not that. They’re like, oh, okay, okay, I can do that with kids are like, no. If so, you’ve got to like, okay, try this okay. Try this. Okay. Try this. And finally kind of get to the place where they want to be, you know, and then try to get the supplements and stuff like that. But you know, there’s a lot of that that, you know, the more options you have, the more the easier it is.
Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:07:06] So, you know, work with somebody who’s who’s been there, who’s done that, who’s worked with a bunch of these kids. Because the number one thing, if you’re looking for your kids overall health, their diet and their supplementation needs to be the number one thing you’re looking at, you know, whether or not you’re in a vaccinate is a great thing to talk about with your provider. You know, I’ll talk I talk about this kind of talk about this every day. But what you’re feeding your kids, both, you know, all the way around from a media standpoint, from a from an input standpoint, whatever information you’re letting seep into your kids heads, all of the food, water and air, chemical stuff. Yeah. How are you getting that stuff out properly? You know, those are the things that we really want to start focusing on if we want to have healthy kids, because, you know, it’s one of those things where if you want to have if you want your kids to be healthy when they’re 30 and 40, you’ve got to make them healthy when they’re, you know, five and six. So and if you’re, you know, if your kids are teenagers, you know, it’s even more difficult. But we can usually get those guys to turn back around. And we’ve gotten a lot of room to turn around.
Dr. Matt Chalmers [00:08:11] So if you guys have any of those people you know, get with us or have them get with us, because long term health requires some energy and require some work. And so building up to it takes a little bit. So that ramp up time can take a little bit. So don’t wait until you’re sick. Don’t wait until things get bad. Don’t wait until you know we have one of these issues with these kids. Or like, oh, they’re 26. They’re trying to have kids and they’re infertile, and we don’t know why. So there’s lots of lots of that. By the way, if your kids are in their early 20s and you’re not aware that, you know, a lot of people are having major issues with pregnancy, it’s a major deal. We’re starting to see the lives of 27 and 28 year olds who just can’t get pregnant. So if you guys have any questions on that, drop in the comments or hit us up [email protected] .
