If you or someone you know has scoliosis, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, or frozen shoulder, here’s what it is and how to heal it. All of these issues stem from a tone issue. One side of the muscle equation is pulling in an uneven manner. This is caused by using one muscle far more than the other. Take, for example, plantar fasciitis. If you press down with your toes more than you draw them up, you will engage your calf more frequently and with higher force than your anterior tibialis.
When this happens, the extent to which the calf muscle pulls gradually increases. This imbalance can cause postural tone alterations over time. These alterations will cause the Achillies tendon to pull harder on the heal bone, causing it to slide back and tighten the plantar fascia, causing it to inflame and so ache as it is damaged. Because of this, true plantar fasciitis is worse in the morning. We turn off the frontal cortex at night, which disables a large portion of the autonomic extensor tone.
This allows for a significant rise in flexor tone. This increase makes everything on the list worse. Exercises to fatigue on opposite, extensor-based muscle groups are used to correct this. In order to avoid plantar fasciitis, you must somewhat resist the process of drawing your toes back. This should cause the anterior tibialis muscle on the front of the shin to burn. Repeat this several times per day, and it should start to assist. It is quite beneficial to have the ankle and foot adjusted while having it worked on.
Then, when you move your foot from toe to toe, have someone pressure the Achillies tendon. This compression on the Achillies will dramatically boost GTO response from the Achillies while also reducing calf strain. But be careful not to compress/squeeze the tendon too much, since this can result in a variety of unpleasant results. All of these problems are not difficult to treat, and depending on how long you have had them, they can sometimes be resolved rapidly. Just keep in mind that the sooner you obtain treatment, the less support you will require.
